Hailey Bieber just leveled up her après-ski style with a piece of prize vintage.
You’d be mistaken for thinking that Bieber wore just any old faux fur coat while out to breakfast in Aspen today. Styled by Dani Michelle, the Rhode founder stopped for coffee in a rich brown floor-grazing faux mink coat from Ralph Lauren’s fall 1995 collection, which she purchased from vintage hotspot The Reallist.
Model Ingrid Seynhaeve debuted the coat on Ralph Lauren’s fall 1995 runway, draping it over a dapper double-breasted suit. While the menswear-inspired look is well within Bieber’s wheelhouse (just see the oversized Saint Laurent suit she wore to dinner in Beverly Hills recently), she opted for something a bit more casual for her morning outing.
Bieber let her base layer play second fiddle to her attention-grabbing coat. She opted for a snug black tee paired with light-wash bootcut jeans. When it came to her accessorizing, things were also par for the course. She added a navy New York Yankees baseball cap and a pair of oval sunglasses. Playing up the brown in her coat, Bieber wore brown suede loafers complete with a square-toe and block heel tucked into white socks—the footwear matching her brown Miu Miu Aventure bag. And, of course, no Hailey Bieber outfit is complete without a Rhode phone case—this time in mahogany.
All in all, it’s a classic Bieber outfit. But with her vintage Ralph Lauren coat, she’s elevating her look to a proverbial black diamond.
