Not to throw my brother under the bus, but over Christmas, he definitely dropped several pieces of hot-off-the-grill fajita chicken onto my clogs. MY SUEDE CLOGS!!
You would have been proud that I did not freak out.
I just calmly dabbed it as best I could, and enjoyed the rest of the night with the family.
Once I got home, I went after the stains with a suede brush — that thing does wonders! Yes, you can kinda still see the marks if you look closely, but suede shoes are always going to develop a patina over time anyway. The first stain is always the worst, because it stands out. But then you attain more scuffs, stains, and marks and it all kind of blends in.

And before I go, two quick notes about this fit:
• Clogs paired with cozy socks is one of my favorite styling moves in the fall and winter. Cute, slouchy socks are kind of a game changer. I never realized what a difference they make until I finally got some last year. These Aritzia socks are the BEST.
• Another fav styling move? Letting a white tee peek out from under a sweater. Everlane Men’s tees are my go to for this. They are the perfect length to show underneath my oversized sweaters. They come in long sleeve too!
