Florence Pugh loves a lace moment. Lace can be of the body-sculpting and almost bridal varieties, and in various layers of sheer: Dior, Di Petsa, Galvin. She’s a longtime lover of Rodarte too. The brand’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection was led by the lace fabric they sourced, making for simple constructions, playful and natural textures, and swooshy silhouettes.
For the London screening of Pugh’s latest film We Live In Time, she was styled by longterm collaborator Rebecca Corbin-Murray, wearing a black Rodarte Spring 2025 dress. The silk charmeuse and lace bias dress has an embroidered lace insert under the bust, with a tie-up detail and puffed cap sleeves. She wore black, crystal peep-toe heels and black dangly drop earrings.
Hairstylist Shon Hyungsun Ju styled Pugh’s short blonde hair swept over in a side part, almost-wet look and wavy—boudoir ready. Her makeup, by Alex Babsky (who also works frequently with Pugh) was soft and feminine: a pale rose pink lip and grey eyeshadow, with the hint of a cat eye.
For a screening of the film back in September, Pugh chose a sheer lace Dior dress, again in black. With its plunging neckline and dramatic sheer overlay, she wore high-waisted knickers and a small black bra underneath, cinched at the waist with a leather belt.
