It seems like nobody wants to get off their ass and scoot these days. But then we’ll always have Kim Kardashian, who proved she’s committed to the serve, Skims, and skooting to make it all happen.
Nothing was going to stop Kim pulling up to the Skims flagship store opening in Midtown, New York. Not even a broken foot, an injury she debuted earlier this week. Kardashian wore an all-cream ensemble, with a plunging, zip-up bustier and matching tight trousers with a fleur-de-lis design on the knees. Despite her ailment, she wore perspex heels (on both feet), and wheeled in on a knee scooter. A small bag hung daintily from the handlebar.
She wore her dark hair in a loose half-up, half-down style, with long bangs. Who needs to see, anyway? Beep beep!
Skims, which Kardashian and co-founder Jens Grede launched in 2019, finds its first flagship store in New York at the former Versace space, situated right next to the Cartier Mansion. Four floors traverse the brand’s underwear, shapewear, clothing, and loungewear ranges. One floor also houses Skims’ collaborations, including Dolce & Gabbana and the North Face. The store is now open to the public.
Kardashian’s friends and peers turned out to support the store’s opening: Paris Hilton, Ice Spice, Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Lala, and Ciara were all in attendance. The dress code flitted from leather, to latex and cheetah print.
