UPDATED: December 1, 5:11 AM: Bursting virtual carts are perks—and hazards—of every Vogue editors’ job. We literally stay up late scrolling our favorite retailers’ new arrivals drops, for fun. Fashion (and beauty, and home) is our passion, and although we adore a good splurge throughout the year, we prefer the best sales when looking for those coveted pieces for friends, family, and, of course, ourselves. Nearly every retailer is now offering something tempting for Cyber Monday 2024—from Cyber Monday deals on clothing to markdowns on skincare and makeup—and it’s difficult to decide where to start the grand scroll. That’s where we step in.

When it comes to shopping sales I have a very strict approach to shopping. You have to, right? There are a lot of choices and it’s very easy to find yourself veering away from your own personal style (I have learned the hard way.) My rule? Only purchase things that are already on your wish list. If it wasn’t there in the first place, chances are you don’t need it.

Looking to find some holiday gifts for my boyfriend, I’ll be shopping the men’s section more than anything. He loves A.P.C. and James Perse, so I’ll be on the lookout for sweaters and hoodies, plus some cool jewelry he can wear. I dropped his portable speaker a few weeks ago, so a replacement is needed! Oops!

I’ve been eyeing these shearling lined winter boots from Toteme for a few seasons, and now that I have a trip to the mountains in 2025 booked, it finally feels like the right time to add them to cart. Speaking of 2025, I have a few weddings I’m attending and Tove’s silk maxi’s are perfect for both summer ceremonies and formal receptions. Lastly, I am full on CE Ferulic obsessive, and there’s nothing worse than an empty bottle. I’ve learned that if there’s an opportunity to get my hands on SkinCeuticals at a discount, whether that’s shopping duty free while traveling or during Cyber Week, I’ll take it!

I have my eye on some designer pieces that would be very irresponsible for me to purchase at full-price: a great Simone Rocha dress with lace trim and dramatic draping at the shoulder, and a very cool, two-tone Marni denim skirt.

Ever since I laid my eyes upon this stunning coat from The Row, I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it. Although that’s how I feel about most things involving the Olsen twins—this one is different. For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I’m also looking to up my hosting game! I recently fell in love with Misette’s home goods—like these porcelain dinner plates and cutlery. So chic!

All of my favorite seasonal trends–suede loafers, relaxed pairs of corduroys, slouchy leather bomber jackets, and standout knits–are on sale this early Black Friday! My winter wardrobe could use a fresh upgrade and I’m looking at these prized pieces to help get me started. The best part? They’re as on trend as they are trans-seasonal–find me sporting these well into spring, too.

Did I mention I was in an accessories mood? I’m in desperate need of some new rings to upgrade my Oura ring stack. On the fashion front, obtaining a new brown pointed-toe boot is of equal priority and this Neous pair is love at first sight. Then to keep myself warm, I plan on stocking up on Everlane’s cozy 100% cotton sweater at 30% off. Looking to outerwear, the scarf coat seems to be the jacket of the season, so when better to test drive the trend than Cyber Week markdowns? Mango to the rescue!

I used to buy chic things on Black Friday. I still remember the mirror and pom pom print Altuzarra skirt I stalked and snagged 50% off in 2012 from Matches (RIP). Nowadays my Black Friday goals are dramatically smaller–the prices and the actual size of the clothing. Kids’ brands do great Black Friday sales and I stock up on PJs for my two toddlers. Here are some pairs I’m eyeing for Arthur and Alice (and one for me).

I was recently shopping our Under-$300 edit, and came across the knit dress I will be sporting to our Vogue office holiday party—the added Black Friday sale made the deal even sweeter. Speaking of a good deal, I need to restock on one of my favorite perfumes, Musc Ravageur. Not only do I love this perfume on its own, but it’s the base I use every time I layer other fragrances. It’s technically not on sale right now but you can get a gift in return at Neiman Marcus when you spend over a certain amount, which works just fine for me!

This Cyber Monday, I’m in search of some versatile and cozy separates to add to my wardrobe. I’ve got my eye on these Fair Isle sweaters, as well as these pleated trousers (I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect pair!).

My former coworker and style inspiration, Emily Farra told me that Calvin Klein makes some of the best jeans. So, this Cyber Monday I’ll be buying a pair from the iconic American denim brand. Also, one of my favorite sweaters to borrow from my mom is a cozy cashmere gray turtleneck from Saks Fifth Avenue. She’s had it for over ten years—and it still looks great despite frequent wear! If that doesn’t prove that Saks Fifth Avenue’s cashmere isn’t worth it then I don’t know what will!

Right now, I’m on a mission to revamp my basics. I’m craving a pair of everyday ankle boots, and I especially love Reformation’s super sleek Rae boots. On the jeans front, I’m looking to pick up some more indigo pants, and as an Agolde loyalist, I’ve got my eyes on these low-slung baggy jeans. I may just have to spring for them both.

I have just started exercising again since the pandemic (read: I’ve done one single Pilates class and can barely walk) and to celebrate the occasion I want some new workout clothing. Plus, everybody in my class looked very cute, so post-pandemic it appears working out is a fashion event, too? Annoying. These Alo leggings are so cute and obviously I need a top to match.
