If there was ever an occasion for Deliah Las Vegas to lift its strict no-photo policy—exclusively for Vogue—it was last night (and into the wee hours of the morning) following Sin City’s 2024 Grand Prix. The scent of burning rubber was still fresh in the air when a star-studded crowd gathered for The After by Wynn at Delilah Las Vegas. As Hennessy cocktails were poured with a speed akin to the cars that had just zipped around the Strip, all other trappings of an unforgettable night fell perfectly into place.
Let’s start with the crowd: There was Damson Idris sitting on the back of a banquette, laughing with friends and flashing a Hollywood smile; Mark Ronson behind the DJ booth, spinning everything from Boyz II Men to Billie Eilish, and Russell Westbrook dancing to it all; Winnie Harlow was spotted—the epitome of cool in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton denim—and we clocked Frances Tiafoe weaving through the crowd alongside Ayan Bloomfield. The man reciting all the lyrics to “Throw Sum Mo”? Alton Mason. The Olympian in black leather? Suni Lee.
To the best of our knowledge, no bets were placed on the night’s entertainment, which was a good thing: Who could have predicted CeeLo Green performing a delightful medley of ‘80s hits—”Take On Me”, ‘Whip It”, and “We Didn’t Start the Fire” among them? Certainly not us. (The crowd was also treated to Green’s own chart-toppers, “Fuck You” and the Gnarles Barkley track “Crazy”.)
Delilah, which bills itself as a supper club of a bygone era, marked by decadence and discretion in equal measure, served a menu of passed hors d’oeuvres worthy of a Michelin Star. Truffle grilled cheese? Check. Wagyu pigs in a blanket? Check. Chicken tenders, sushi, and crowd-pleasing sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich sliders? Check, check, check.
The party—which also welcomed Diplo, Nina Dobrev, Flavor Flav, Keegan-Michael Key, and Axl Rose, among others—was the latest collaboration from Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings, The h.wood Group co-founders John Terzian and Brian Toll, and Scott Sartiano and Will Makris of Bond Hospitality. Las Vegas memories as thrilling as the ones made last night tend to be a bit… fuzzy. Thank goodness for the pictures captured by Tyler Joe.
