On a windy Fall night in Brooklyn, Mother celebrated its latest “Ivy League Cowboy” Collection at none other than Dessert 5 Spot, the east-coast location of the famed Los Angeles saloon bar, enlisting Orville Peck as a surprise performer.
Co-founders of Mother, Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, feted their latest collection with tacos and ranch water, along with musical curation by DJ Mei Kwok, spinning vintage country music. As guests entered the camp country bar, attendees seemed near immediately pulled to set down their drinks and ride Betsy, the mechanical bull. Attendees included Mischa Barton, Candice Huffine, Liz Gillies, Presley Oldham, Bambi Northwood-Blyth, Scout LaRue Willis, and more.
Topping off the evening with a bang, the mysteriously masked country singer phenom Orville Peck took to the stage to perform an acoustic set of his celebrated songs while sporting Mother’s latest collection.
