Last week Dave and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a trip to Round Hill in Jamaica! Round Hill had been on my list for 10 years or so and it was just as magical as I knew it would be.

The hotel aesthetics/branding alone are a dream. Every detail is completely perfect. The hotel lounge and the rooms were all designed by Ralph Lauren (who owns two homes on the property!). The lounge/bar is filled with photos of celebrities from decades past and present, dancing, sipping beverages and just enjoying the magic that is Round Hill. It is just a classy place and Dave and I had the most blissful 4 days. We swam, read by the pool, visited the spa, paddle boarded, sipped margaritas, had delicious meals, went on walks and relaxed.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa, the Treehouse! It is an extension of Cottage 20 if you need specifics. We had a private pool and the most stunning views from our terrace. When we checked in the hotel staff said it was their favorite of all their cottages and I see why. Round Hill also has INCREDIBLE homes throughout the property for larger groups. It is a really special place to go for a couples trip but we are also excited to bring our kids! They have an adorable kids club that is free every day, tennis, pickleball, a trampoline in the water, a perfect little beach and gorgeous pool looking over the ocean.

The one difference I would say about Round Hill vs. other places we’ve visited (like Turks & Caicos or Grand Cayman) is that I couldn’t really see ourselves leaving the hotel for dinner (unless we went to another hotel). There is one restaurant at the hotel and the menu changes every night based on different themes, which is great because you are getting something different every night. But if you are someone who likes to explore the island for meals, I can’t really comment on that. We also didn’t do any excursions (although they were offered!) so just know that it is available if that’s something you’re interested in!

For travel, we connected through Atlanta and flew into Montego Bay. Round Hill is a quick 25 minute drive from the airport and the hotel arranged a car service to pick us up. Easy peasy! Literally couldn’t not recommend it enough.

We can’t wait to go back to Round Hill!
