I am no stranger to a little black dress, it’s always been a staple in my closet for as long as I’ve been blogging. But the thing about a little black dress is that it seems ubiquitous, it seems like a no-brainer but the truth is finding the right little black dress for you is quite the hunt. After years of trying all of the options, I have found my formula for the perfect LBD. I prefer a shorter version of the LBD and a more casual vibe than a formal, however if I can find a dress than can do both? Perfection. This dress is one of those that can be worn casually and of course dressed up, too. I chose to go more casual with an easy loafer, but this dress shines in heels as well.
Unfortunately for us down here in Texas it’s still been very warm. This week we are getting a hint of fall so expect JACKETS in the forecast but until then a sleeveless dress is actually appreciate right now. I have become an expert in dressing for the temperature but keeping the seasonal vibes. For this look I added this beloved Quince cardigan as a layer and the loafers which will always give a fall feeling to any outfit. I can’t wait to layer a button down under this dress as well later this season, I think it would look adorable with the bell shape of the dress.
