It’s been relatively quiet on the royal baby front since Princess Eugenie welcomed her second child, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, with husband Jack Brooksbank last summer. Fear not, as Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child early in the New Year, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. Their first child together, Sienna Elizabeth, was born in September 2021.
The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary a few months ago after marrying at Windsor Castle in July 2020. Queen Elizabeth II—who loaned the Princess a Norman Hartnell dress for the low-key wedding—and Prince Philip were both in attendance at the ceremony.
The 36-year-old Princess was a long-time family friend of property developer Mapelli Mozzi, 40, before they got engaged in September 2019.
