Exclusive! The Gucci Muses Came Out for a Post-Show Fete in Milan

Not long after the last oversized coat trailed the runway at Gucci’s Spring 2025 show, Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno had all his muses and showgoers gather once again for a post-show fete.

It was a quick jaunt from the show’s venue, Triennale di Milano—the city’s museum of Art and Design located in the stately Parco Sempione–over to Horto, a distinctly Milanese restaurant topped with a roof deck that offers a view onto Duomo di Milano.

There, the party in after-party truly lived up. Many front-show fixtures were displaying their second looks of the night. Debbie Harry swapped her pencil skirt and leather jacket for an embellished tracksuit jacket with an F1 twist. Daisy Edgar-Jones turned up in oversized denim after serving looks in a white and semi-sheer mirco short; Dakota Johnson had also slipped into something more comfortable—a pair of jeans and a slick black leather jacket.

If De Sarno’s just-premiered collection was inspired by the “casual grandeur” of Jackie Kennedy, that was also the vibe embraced by his partygoers. Gucci gals appeared to have ditched their stylist-approved outfits for something less “assembled”—what could be more glamourous than effortlessness?

As Sabrina Carpenter’s “Freedom” and go-to’s from The Strokes played on the speakers helmed by DJ Alix Brown, Dakota Johnson and Gabriette were seen hitting it off. Actors Julia Garner and Nicola Coughlan gathered at a table with Jessica Chastain. Solange turned up and posed for pics with Harry and De Sarno. All the while, plates from Horto’s Chef Niederkofler, who adheres to “1-hour ingredients” (everything is sourced hyper-locally), were passed around. Admiring the Michelin-star kitchen was Jannik Sinner, who spent most of his night chatting it up with the chefs.

Things really got going when De Sarno started taking shots with his party guests. He had a lot to celebrate. The night marked almost a year since his first-ever Gucci collection debuted and, per Vogue’s Luke Leitch, with his Spring 2025, “De Sarno had found himself some new fans.” Cheers to that!
