How I Styled Leopard Print Wide Leg Pants

This outfit would technically fall under my “It’s a Date” category but we brought the big camera this time. We had the best dinner at a place down in Dallas called ‘Wicked Butcher’ and let me tell you we did not know what we were getting ourselves into. We went on a whim and it was one of the best meals of my life. Stretchy pants and a loose top were a strategic move for this date and I didn’t even know it.

I bought the skirt version of these pants (it’s a mini) and then of course the pants you see here. I wanted to give both a shot and I will be honest — I thought I’d like the mini skirt more. It’s more my vibe, but believe me when I tell you I’ve tried to style it so many times and it just falls flat. I actually have a whole post that we shot and I just don’t know if I like the outfit enough to post on here. But these pants? They style up so so easily. For this outfit I wanted to go loose and chic, two words not typically used together. Perhaps I mean to say loosely chic, but I digress. I had this top tucked in at first and then realized I loved the flow of it all — the top, the pants, the hair. I left a few buttons undone on the top to create more movement as well. I also paired this silk top with a black bra because I wanted to keep the edgy vibe going throughout the whole look. It was very subtle, but risqué enough for me.

This top is old Topshop (2019 I think?)  but I’ve linked a great alternative from Nordstrom here! I would buy the large if I was purchasing the item linked.

I am in the large of the Reformation pants and they fit perfectly. I want like a half inch more of a rise, but maybe that’s my high rise denim talking. I am typically always a large in Ref so this rings true to these pants. Find them from Nordstrom here!

Or if you’d like some alternative versions try this pair here or here! Both under $100.
