Season after season, I’m either horrified (dramatic, I know) or pleasantly surprised to see which trends stick with the masses. Surprisingly, I’m not upset by what I’m seeing unfold this spring. “Chic bag charms” is a phrase I never thought would come out of my mouth, but Wandler made it possible. And I fought the return of the slimmer jean at first, but now, I find myself ready to embrace more fitted styles. The moral of this long-winded story is that I never know which new arrivals will change my mind, and this time around, I found 27 pieces that have done just that. Bermuda shorts, mixed metals, slimmer jeans, and yes, bag charms are just a few examples of spring arrivals I never thought I’d cosign. Keep scrolling to see what else made the cut.
Banana Republic
Poplin Cinched-Waist Shirt
I’ll reach for over any oversize, white button-down this spring.
Banana Republic
Slim Refined Blazer
As much as I love my vintage, menswear-style blazers, this slimmer style continues to catch my eye.
Banana Republic
Soho High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant
I’m looking for fresh ways to style my cream sweaters, and these pants are first on my purchase list.
Banana Republic
High-Rise 90s Straight Jean
You won’t catch me in a skinny jean, but you will find me in a slimmer ’90s fit.
Rixo
Aara Wool-Blend Cardigan
I recently bought this cardigan, and I’m sad I didn’t walk out of the store with more colorways. The weight and fabric are also perfect for spring.
We the Free
Montana Shorts
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m ready to wear Bermuda shorts again.

The Tilda Knee-Length Slip Skirt: Lace Trim Edition
A pop of yellow does an outfit good.
John Hardy
Pebble Ring in Sterling Silver
In addition to mixed metals, I can’t get enough sculptural jewelry.
Le Specs
Starlight Sunglasses
These look similar to the Gucci style every cast member on Love Island (UK) is wearing—niche reference, I know.
